WHERE YOU NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR SIGN…
Have you visited signspotting.com yet? It’s a must; everytime I drop by the website I nearly bust a gut. But seriously, you DO NOT want to discover your sign in any of their online categories, or being celebrated as one of their Top Ten. It would, however, be fun finding your competition’s sign there somewhere now wouldn’t it!
Check the site out, it’s fun. And if you’ve seen any weird/odd/cough-a-lung-up funny signs you happened to photograph, you can submit it to them for posting. If you do, make sure to let us know!
And I promise, no Speedpro signs have, or will ever be displayed on signspotting.com!
Make sure to keep posted here at speedprogp.com… we’re about ready to announce the SPEEDPRO BEAT SIGN CRITIQUE! Follow us on FB so you’ll always know when a new post arrives… you don’t want to miss out!
THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND & ROUND…
WINDOW PERFORATED GRAPHICS
See-Through Vinyl Graphics are graphics printed on perforated vinyl (vinyl that has been entirely punched with pinholes). Odd isn’t it, you’d think those holes would interfere with advertising wouldn’t you? That’s where you’d be wrong.
STVG’s; Certainly tricky, certainly useful.
Most commonly used to cover vehicle windows so drivers can advertise as well as drive safely, this type of decaling is often seen splashed across the back windows of trucks or the windows of city busses. Though visibilty from the back of the graphic is perfect (you see through it), viewing the STVG from the front is as gazing upon a wall that is color, style, and information. What I’d like to know is, why aren’t they more often used on company windows?
We’ve seen how utilizing decals on building windows open a whole new form of advertising to drive and walk-bys, (check it out), but these have been vinyl cut-outs. Cut-out decalling will work great for rooms that have blinds often being opened and closed, or windows with displays behind them which must also be viewed from the outside. But how about those companies that have HUGE windows they can’t exactly figure out how to cover, or gyms where treadmills and cross-trainers face windows so members can gaze through them as they ‘work it’?
These companies should be looking into what’s great about See-Through Vinyl Graphics.
Covering the entire window, or windows, means super promo from the outside, and happy clients on the inside.
Visit Speedpro today and discover how simple it is to get your STVG’s on your building windows!
THE FIVE W’S OF TRADE SHOWS
Who can take part in Trade Shows? Every business can and should participate in at least one Expo a year, but not just any Expo. Making sure Trade Shows are thoroughly researched will ensure beneficial results. For example, in a Wedding Show, appropriate showcasing trades might be travel agencies, flower shops, bakeries, and bridal stores, while a welding company would do well registering for an alternate Trade Show.
A Trade Show can have many titles; don’t get tripped up in them. Expo or Fair, all that requires knowing is that an event which has been organized for businesses of a similar industry to exhibit themselves, their products, and/or their services, is one whose purpose is to provide space for introduction, promotion, and education.
Trade Shows give exhibitors opportunity to…
A) Examine Competitors
B) Keep up with Market Trends
C) Advertise new products or services, and
D) Collect or maintain important business contacts.
Of this form of showcasing there are two different styles to be aware of; the Public Trade Show, which allows for consumer walk through, and the Trade Only Show, meant for industry professionals and press related visitors only.

Trade Shows are expensive and require an exhausting amount of organizational time and energy, so why do businesses take part in them? While the reasoning for Trade Show participation may vary for separate companies, each does hold equal importance to that company’s needs. Consider this, if consumers visit a Trade Show with an expectation of viewing a specific exhibit that ends up not being there, they will wonder why it isn’t. They may decide the company is no longer in business, or down-sizing, that they have nothing new to share. All the while, these consumers are being bombarded with ulterior products and names they may or may not have recognized before. For some businesses, maintaining a presence while competing with rivals is motive, while showcasing a new look, product, or idea may be the goal of others.
While Speedpro can supply you with the essentials in Trade Show set-up and display, we’re interested in more than just selling you our products.
